Market Pavilion Valkenswaard

in collaboration with the NCI, aims to: Promote meeting and culture for the residents of Valkenswaard and the surrounding area.

We want to achieve this by designing, building, furnishing and operating a pavilion on the Market in Valkenswaard.

It is a renewed application for the project that was postponed in July 2020 by the Valkenswaard municipal council due to doubts about the support among the population and stakeholders around the market.

On June 27, 2024, we received formal permission from the municipal council to place a pavilion on the market in Valkenswaard!

An information point is also planned in the pavilion to provide information about historical and current facts in Valkenswaard and the surrounding area.

In addition, programming is also provided for the Market Pavilion

In order to organize activities in the pavilion from January 2025, the managers of the Programming section, Jacques van Gerven and Frank van Daal, have already started preliminary talks with organizations that are involved in social welfare as well as organizations and associations that practice culture. Such as: management of the Hofnar, singing companies, theater companies, individual artists, representatives of CMD, and so on.

Due to their extensive network and appreciation in these sectors, a well-filled use of the pavilion is a certainty.

The pavilion is open to everyone during the day and in the evenings we offer groups and associations the opportunity to use the space by providing a key to the lockable building.

The foundation will manage and operate the Market Pavilion for at least 5 years.
